ABS Stands for anti-lock Braking System. It is a safety system on vehicles with the purpose of maintaining traction between the tire and road in the even of a sudden stop. The system uses electronic speed sensors at each wheel. It then monitors the wheel speeds and reduced the braking force to the wheel the stops.
